feel light
here's a little trick that's helping me this week.
it might seem silly if you have never struggled with over eating or losing weight..it might just seem like common sense. i guess it just didn't really sink in before. i am hoping it does now.
if you eat heavy, sugary, fatty, greasy food (which unhealthy choices usually are) you feel heavy....sugared out....tired...just yucky.
if you eat light food......fresh vegetables.....fruit.....salad.....lean meats.....seafood.......healthy choices......you feel lighter, more engerized.
how would you rather feel?
i want to feel light.
another one bites the dust
one and half more pounds gone.
it's slow.
but it's going.
new favorite treat:
weight watchers choclate fudgesicles ..... 1 point! sooo good!
what's keeping me going
knowing that if i put my mind to it and stick with it, even when i have a bad meal, day or even week......i CAN do it this time.
the desire to go into a store and buy something that i want to wear
the knowledge that not one bite of food is worth the joy i will feel when i reach my desired goal
realizing how much more energy & how much better quality of life i will have if i am healthy
reminding myself that no matter what......
i
can
NOT
give
up
here we are
so the weekend is here, and for once i am writing things down instead of previous pattern of just saving all my extra points for the weekends and having whatever without writing it down and just hoping it's somewhere close. since this method cost me a gain a couple of weeks ago....i have made the decision to try harder. last week i lost 4.6 pounds! (despite some relapses last weekend). so hopefully this week's meeting on tuesday will be another happy one with this new determination.
my favorite food find this week: smart choices cheesecake with strawberry topping. very nice dessert for 4 points.
least fave: healthy choices salmon dill pasta (not sure of the actual name). really fishy tasting, not good at all to me. lean cuisine's salmon pasta dinner is so much better.
anyone else out there eat frozen dinners? any faves?
i couldn't stick to the plan without them. no way i'd be cooking up a meal everynight and eating out is a special treat these days that i have to save up points for.
